Purchased a sofa, love seat, and ottoman set in 11/2018. Spent over $1,600 on the set during the black friday sale and added on the "Pure Promise" Furniture Protection Plan. The cushions on the couch are ripping open in the back and pulling away from the couch (they are attached seat cushions). We take VERY good care of our furniture and there is no reason the cushions should be damaged already. We bought a set of recliners for $1299,then returned them under free return. Bought a different set for $1196. Then manager double talked us out of any refund due. She even tried to tell us we owed them money.
They are misleading when buying furniture and getting a warranty
I've always thought this was a good business but sadly they failed to honor the terms of a contract and instead of resolving the issue, blamed their warranty company, or the local store, or the manager, or an alien, or whatever was convenient. in 2015, I purchased a $1700 Sectional couch set, as well as the 5-year Scotch-guard stain warranty, which guaranteed if there ever was a stain, they would clean it like new or replace it. Purchased furniture, less than a year old and it is literally falling apart and they refuse to honor their warranty. Nothing but a run around.
Ordered sleeper sofa 11/26/19 Original pick up date 12/24/19- got delayed until 1/4/20. Went to pick up 1/4/20 at West Broad location (Richmond VA) and only received HALF of the couch plus the sofa mattress. The sleeper section was not delivered with the rest of the couch. New pick up date for the other half of couch- 1/28/20. Received call from VCF 1/27/20 to let us know the delivery of the half of couch was delayed until 2/19/20. VCF has been delivering furniture ordered in Oct piece by piece since December. Each time they come they leave a trail of damage behind. They have damaged baby gates and even delivered damaged furniture. They are rude every time they’ve come. They are always confused about what furniture is expected and they never have all of it. My biggest complaint would be the damage to walls, baby gates and areas where they’ve assembled beds. Stay away from VCF if you care at all about your house because they surely do not care about it.... read more
