Value City Furniture in ***** ******, VA is a terrible place to shop and I would strongly suggest not wasting your time or money on their poor quality items. My fiancé and I purchased a leather chair, sofa, dining set with 6 chairs, king size bed, and queen size bed with chest of drawers, and the entire order ended up being a disaster. Bought table. Picked it up. Opened blankets it was damaged. Go back next day. Eric states they will call and see when someone can come look at the damage on tuesday. No one calls tuesday. I call Wednesday to find out oh hey they are coming Friday between 3pm and 5pm. Alright then. Call Thursday to confirm. Yes. Friday. 5pm no one arrives. I call them. I can not believe after spending over 2,000 on a living room couch and round chair that under three years and part of our couch broke. The frame broke and we were told to take pictures and they would get back to us, which they did not. We had to call them and they are denying the claim. This will be my second couch purchase from value city. It will also be my last. I had my couch delivered on oct 16 2018. I asked the men not to lock the couch together because we needed to put soft pads on all the legs so my wood floor did not get damaged. Immediately after the delivery my husband and I lifted the first piece to put on the pads, and there on my wood floor is a 2 foot long scratch. I was shocked! I ordered my furniture in the beginning of November 2018. It is 1/16/19 and I have STILL NOT received my furniture. The most I have gotten is a call saying my delivery is going to be delayed, AGAIN. They do nothing to make up for the inconveniences they cause. With all this, it keeps saying my furniture is available in the warehouse. I will NEVER order from them again, and I definitely canceled my order.
I will never buy from VCF after this. I ordered a product on 12/27. 12/29 was supposed to be the first available pickup option. They were booked for that day so I did 12/31 pickup. Order said ready for pickup the morning of 12/31 and I called the store to confirm and they now tell me not until Thursday 1/3. Terrible business and ridiculous. I had to rent a U-Haul van for this and plans with people helping me out. I am cancelling my order and will never buy from VCF again.
Purchased a new couch from value city furniture warranty does not want to cover any Of the vinyl peeling from the couch had out multiple times to repair Larry and happy will not buy again
