The company is totally unwilling to stand behind their product. Insurance was purchased during the initial negotiations and 2.5 years later, when the Sofa's in question have faded to their pre-colorized level, Value City claims they are not required to address this issue. I wrote a note to their CEO and received a reply that the *** site does not pertain to Value City. If it's possible to give negative star, that's what this business deserves. The sofa and ottoman started falling apart from the day it was delivered. Even with the 5 years warranty service I bought, they refused to fix the sofa and ottoman. Do not buy from value city furniture, they sell inferior products and rubbish warranty services, they are bunch of scammers.

If I could I would leave a negative star. We paid for the extra warranty on living room set. Waited for 8 months to get it. The female manager I talked to yesterday was so unprofessional, degrading and literally told me to sit on my porch with coffee and wait for the repair man to come after weve been waiting for months! She says they tried to call me the day before many times-no they didnt-I have no missed calls, no voicemails and my phone is always, always with me. I am a caregiver and I am so busy all the time. **************** is unreliable and deceiving to the customer at time of purchase. I purchased a table, 6 chairs and an entertainment center and also paid for the Pure Promise warranty to protect against accidents from Value City. I have been very pleased with the purchase until the other day when my table apparently had a reaction with something set on the table for literally about 6 hours. I'm not sure exactly what it was caused from but I was guessing from a leaky essential oil dispenser that had just randomly been placed ... read more
