I drove to the other side of town to avoid the store that I knew had poor customer service. My purchase was made 12/04/2020 of course there were issues and guess what???? The sale was transferred back to the very store I was trying to avoid. These issues carried on until June 2021. I have asked for the regional/district manager contact information. However for some reason the local store and Corporate refuses to give me this information so that I can make a formal complaint.

We ordered a dinning room set from the Waldorf , MD location. We placed the order in March, they stated that four of the chairs wouldnt be in until may with the other two coming in June. We said okay, because by that time we were already at home and had signed the paperwork. May and June came- NO COMMUNICATION about the chairs. We called, they stated that they now wouldnt be delivered until July 1st and the other two Sept. Here it is at the end of July NO COMMUNICATION about the chairs not being delivered. I called again. Ordered furniture in May. The furniture is arriving tomorrow, July 24th. They have had the furniture in their location for a week and JUST now told me a coffee table is busted and I wont have it until October now. $500 for something I wont have in my home for 5 months!!?? The woman on the phone was very condescending saying they went ahead and ordered a new one because she was sure I wouldnt want the damaged one. Lady you did your job. I wouldnt have taken it. Wanted to give ZERO stars! Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Will take you ***** mins each time to get thru to customer care. No one at the store will answer the phone either. They cancel your order with no justification and they have no communication between customer care corporate office and the store managers. Please do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs. Had such a terrible experience with this store will never ever order anything from them

Ordered Chairs in *** was given a Delivery date of July 7th then received phone call it wouldnt be until July 22 received after call now it wont be until Aug 11th just stop selling items you dont Have.

I purchased several furniture from value city between March of 2021 and July 2021.. Besides the fact that they keep pushing the delivery date forward, there were 3 separate occasions in which the company overcharged me. I discovered these discrepancies on my own and brought it up with the customer service representative. They were able to make the adjustment on all three occasions but this makes me to lose confidence in this company. It makes me wonder if there had been occasions in the past in which I did not pay attention ... read more

The delivery person today arrive to my house with a terrible attitud very rude person even my neighboor said wats wrong with that person ..my happy day when down when this delivery person arrive to my house value city got to do something about this situation need training delivery people to b cordial and not so mean and rude

Southeast ******** customer Our family purchased a sectional and ottoman in April 2019 for $3000. Along with this, we opted into their PURE PROMISE furniture protection plan. This was an additional $300, but it gave us peace of mind knowing if anything spilled or put a hole in our couch, it would be covered. Fast forward two years, we notice a corner of the ottoman looking very worn. Closer inspection revealed the weave of the upholstery was coming undone. Ordered a bed June ************************************** by the 15th. Called back the 23rd to see whats going on. Was told the bed had not even been sent out and that it wasnt even in stock. Canceled order. Still havent received my refund and its now July 13th. Disgusted at the lack of customer service. VCF is a mess and shouldnt be in service at this point.
