I purchased an extended warranty for my recliner when I purchased it at Value City Furniture. I had mechanical problems in June . It's almost October and the still haven't repaired it. They have made an appointment every month to come out and then they cancel the day before they come. My next appointment is the end of October but I can't help but wonder if they will cancel again!!
Had an awful experience with manager of delivery ***** at the ******* Township store. I will never go back. He was rude, threatened to charge my account more money. Not sure how he can be a manager! Rude! Do not shop there!
I wish I can give zero stars. I placed an order Jun 30th 2021, was supposed to be delivered on August 7th 2021...receive a call saying all items are not in stock; so they moved delivery date by a month. September 7th 2021 was the moved date, got an email saying it's on its way including estimated time.. I purchased approximately ****** dollars of furniture from Value City furniture on ***************** in ******** **** two years ago. Among this was leather couch and loveseat that cost over *******. They sold me a 5 year warranty called pure promise that was supposed to cover any defects or damage. The couch and loveseat have worn thin and discolored from normal use. American Signature is the worst...I purchased a bedroom set $5900 on 9/6. It was schedule to be delivered on 9/23 between 7:45-10:45am. I received a call on 9/22 after 6:30pm stating it will be reschedule to 9/30. That the truck broke down with our items on it. The young lady had an attitude with me for asking questions about my stuff not being delivered. Now, I'm questioning if, my stuff will be delivered on 9/30. What a trash company. I should've looked at the reviews here. I bought a sofa in JUNE and today, September 22 I get a call that my sofa is ready to be delivered. I get no opportunity to change the date of delivery to a day or time that works for me. Furthermore, they say that there's a chance that I could "LOSE" my sofa to someone else since furniture is in high demand. HOW CAN I LOSE SOMETHING I PAID FOR AND WAITED MONTHS FOR? I've been one the phone with them for hours and everyone is useless. Never ever again.
I would not recommend Value City Furniture, as it took 3 times to delivery undamaged furniture since they dont inspect it until they open the boxes at your house.
I ordered 7 pieces of furniture from Value City ********** ********, in June of 2021, totaling $4,124.31. It is now September of 2021 and I have not received my items. At this time, I have completely paid these items off. This is the 3rd change of delivery date with no call, no update, or communication regarding the delays. Every associate cannot answer questions nor resolve issues/concerns and in order to speak with a Manager or Corporate employee for resolutions is near impossible. We recently ordered 3 pieces of furniture online from Value City Furniture. The items were shipped to the Kentwood store for pickup, which is quite a distance from our home. We loved the furniture, it was beautiful.
