I think this place has no sense of business or customer care. I worked with a sales person who was nice but had zero communication. I was to receive an living room set in December and then it was changed to March and no one told me! Then when calling customer care I was treated terribly because I was told no delivery unless I paid an outrageous fee. I had a bed delivered December 23,2021 The delivery guys broke my light in my hallway, lifted up the bed and put it in the room. When they left there response was sorry about your light, didnt offer to even clean it up! I reported it to value city and the guy in charge of the delivery company called said they would replace my light. After I finally received my furniture, one of the arm rests of my loveseat was scratched (leather). After months of attempts (e-mails only), I finally received a call from a person that was willing to come to the house and take a look at the damaged product. I have had bad experiences all the way around, Ive been to a store looking to purchase a mattress. We asked for help and waited 20 minutes no help came, we asked the main desk again and waiting another 20 and still nobody came to help, they were all in the front of the store joking and laughing while we left. Value City furniture has the worst customer service and policies. I ordered a living room set in November, and the set was delayed 3 different times. Value City will get their rudest agent to call and give you a timeframe 24 hrs before the delivery date and then have the same rude individual to call you back 2 hrs later to tell you the furniture cannot be delivered. I spoke with the manager on duty today. He lacked extreme empathy when I explained to him that I was expecting my couch with all of my parts. When ************ Department arrived with my couch the legs to my Ottoman was missing. After a third follow up call to the Novi location (the store that had my couch) I was advised of the **** week estimated time of delivery from the manufacturer. So sad the Value City Furniture store in ****** ******** has the rudest employees!I do not live in the state, came to the state after seeing their furniture online, so me and my husband flew to the city bought a lot of furniture.
