vcf furniture did not do what is stated on there sales receipt for the terms and conditions that i paid for.
DO NOT SHOP HERE Value city delivery men are con artists. The two people who delivered my furniture yesterday told me my couch wouldn't fit up my stairs. I asked them to lean it another direction and pull it into my kitchen slightly over a ********. I purchased the ***** Collection at VCF and have owned it fir at least 3 months. Poor quality upholstery already showing wear. I only have a total of 2 people using that furniture. An 87 year old and myself, no pets or children. The upholstery forms little ***** and looks to be wearing away. I had to return the swivel chair 3 times and the current chair they delivered is still defective. I purchased the Insurance they offered me and it only covers damage that I would cause. I had an extremely bad experience with a Value City store and decided to go visit a new Value City at another location. Sales woman ************************* came to my rescue!!! She was kind, listened to me vent, and actually heard what I said. She then helped us reorder the items we wanted to purchase. She made sure to explain everything to me in regards to the ordering process and delivery time, cost and what was covered under the warranty, and throughly explained the extended warranty that I wanted to purchase. Bought a recliner in December and was told delivery would be made on 24 Jan 22. Waited all day for delivery and called store was told delivery was now 15 Feb 22. Called store on 13 Feb to confirm delivery on 15 Feb and got told now it would be delivered on 19 Feb 22.
Incredibly rude customer service at ********************** in ****, ********, except ***** I ordered $3k of furniture April 2021. Was told remainder of my order (posh dresser, mirror, night stand, end table) won't be delivered until June 2022!! That's 1.2 years after I ordered it!! Meanwhile, I've been making monthly auto pays & it's almost paid off. What a joke it was in stock when I brought one recliner my couch has been over 60 days they called me today its gonna be another 40 days I wish I never went there. Absolutely horrible!!!
I bought some tables from VCF, they had to order one table, which came the next week and the other table 4 weeks, when I was checking out I noticed $79 on my receipt. I asked the sales lady what it was for, she said it's for the warranty, I clearly told her I didn't want it, she said they can take it off when I pick up my furniture. when I picked up my furniture they said they can't take the Warranty off because it has to be taken off within 7 days. THEY ARE SCAMMERS, AND LIERS!! I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!
awful experience. purchased a dining table set a couple months ago, and they said it would be 2-3 month wait. Now that I am in a 2 week window, they just called and said its going to be another month to two months. Go with a more trusted furniture company.
