I received a **** of $1067 for 3 trips for my husband. I paid the full amount and a few weeks later AMR determined there was an overpayment and reimbursed me . Then I got billed again for the same trips. I have had to call twice when my checks were not posted to the account and I was getting past due notices. This last payment cleared my bank on 5/27/22 and today 6/11/22 I got a past due email. Never sent me a ****. It went straight to collection, where I paid off via Credence, but have no receipt.The fact that they NEVER sent me a **** and it went straight to collections means that I will *** (I have retained a lawyer) if this shows up on my credit report.

I was not given the opportunity to see if my insurance would cover the ambulance service nor was I given the choice of ambulance (I didn't know what the hospital knew about ambulances tending to be out of network) nor was I allowed (some hospital or ER policy?) to drive/transport my teenager from ER at one hospital to the adolescent behavioral health hospital myself. I have been trying to get a **** situation rectified since February 2021 I have called every two weeks to get this resolved and every time I call they pass the buck to somebody else and nobody has helped me. AMR Ambulance service in ***************************************. My husband used their services in March this year. We recently got their ****, The **** for the basic ambulance serve and also for mileage at @ $25. a mile. The mileage from our home to the hospital is 1.9. They billed 4 miles at the cost of $110.40. They sent me a **** for two ambulance rides that I never took to locations that I've never even heard of. The company had two different PO Boxes listed on the letter. I called the number and concisely told the women (who struggled to speak English) that I had not used their service, didn't take any ambulance rides, and, if they continued sending me bills or reported me to the credit bureau, that I would take legal action against them. It all felt very "scammy".

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I paid my **** (~$2,000) today 5/17/2022 because AMR has been unable to successfully submit payment to my insurance since December 21, 2020. All of my other hospital bills from the same day of service were successful, except AMR. My lawyer's office has reached out to them numerous times over the past year (>10 times, don't worry - I have receipts) and been on the phone for hours to resolve this issue, and yet AMR has remained incompetent.
