First of all the first statement i received showed i owed the total amount due of $1390.00 and that the insurance payment was $0. I was confused due to the insurance had not been billed. Therefore, I did a little more research on the **** and see in very tiny print states to visit thier online portal at 'Visit pay.qmr.net add insurance and we will reprocess your ****'. My husband had multiple ambulance trips in 2021. AMR failed to submit timely trip reports to ********* and when they finally did, they were inaccurate and caused ******** to deny numerous appeals. AMR also passed the charges on to Credence Collection, after telling me they were extending payment period while ******** sorted out the appeals process. AMR used scare tactics and bullying to scare special needs students and parents. There was a non injury accident involving a school bus. The other party sideswiped the school bus. The school bus was not at fault. AMR arrived and lied saying that because they were students, they had to be transported by ambulance to a hospital for evaluation. Most insurance companies have in network and out of network coverage. If a medical provider negotiates/contracts with insurance (in network) they have a limited insurance pay out cap rate the insurance will pay after a discount. Under the emergency care clause out of network providers such as ambulances/emergency rooms must use the in network rates when there are no out of network benefits for our plan. I think zero would probably be still too much of a rating. It took me 9 months to collect my copay money paid to them in error.I was told by a ***** at the billing office that they would hold my money until the insurance reprocess their claim however they would refuse to **** correctly or give the info needed to process their claim .Several employees of both Anthem and Optumcare tried to get the info needed. This business continues to not give me credit for my past payments. The billing is not up to date. Thank Goodness I have paid by debit and all payments are a matter of record with ***** Fargo. I have one remaining payment with them and will make it but do not want AMR to send me another **** or I will take further action.

We had an experience with AMR regarding a short Ambulance ride to the local hospital following a fall and a twisted ankle - their staff on the Ambulance ride were excellent and then the **** ARRIVED - our ***************** paid their market rate however they did not have a contract with AMR in ******* - Accordingly, we have been held accountable for the excess and despite all efforts of REASONABLENESS from both our INSURANCE COMPANY as well as MYSELF - they have been totally inflexible.
