In the past we purchased most appliances and mattresses from Sears outlet now American Freight without issues. I'm wondering if quality and service changed since it's no longer Sears. In April 2022 we bought a Samsung dishwasher which lasted 9 months and was determined a total loss by a repair service. We didn't complain and went back to American Freight to purchase another dishwasher, this time a Frigidaire which stopped working after 3 weeks. I bought a bedframe from American freight st.paul mn location..They refused to give me the bedframe they told me I was lying about purchasing it there or even coming to the store I went in store with receipts had the police called on me and was assaulted by police only to find out AMERICAN FREIGHT MADE I MISTAKE I DID PURCHASE THERE AMD HAD BEEN THERE ON 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS TO PICK BEDFRAME UP..I GOT NO APOLOGY SND WHEN I CALLED COPORATE NO APOLOGY MIKE GRAY IS SUPPOSEDLY THE BOSS his personal number eight four seven nine ... read more

They delivered broken up furniture in boxes and left.couch was missing the chaise lounge section.goofy delivery guys states"not my problem".this was at my daughter's apartment so I had to call and fight for them to come pickup thier crappy busted up furniture.not to mention the boxes they left behind.left a mess for my daughter to clean up.pure shysters....so geno runs the show there at particular location.total idiot.i finally got my money credited back to my account after calling the corporate office and threatening legal ... read more

I got a recliner from them not even a month ago.Its in horrible shape the wood is showing it took a chunk out of my leg when I went to sit down.There is no cushion in the chair it feels like you are sitting on wood. Horrible furniture

I have had to have 3 sets returned to company because the arm brake. I have another one that I have not had 6 months and it has done the same thing. I asked about buying a different set of furniture. I was willing to pay the $300 different in price. But they want me to take the same set I don't want the same set for it to happen again. I would not recommend you buy from them. Called main customer service and it still didn't help resolve this issue

Me and my husband went in the store and bought a mattress and a boxspring. It was supposed to be delivered the same day, but it wasn’t delivered until the next day and the mattress was damaged. They would not return any of my call so I had to call the corporate office seven times to finally get my refund back. I will never step foot in that store again.

They mislead me. Broke contract. Lied about it. Now I have to wait 3-6 weeks to get my money back. In the meantime sitting on the floor because I don't have money to pay for a second sofa. Very dishonest company.

American Freight in Newark DE. I can't talk about other American Freight stores. I did not purchase from them. This is not the place to buy anything. YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS. when I called about my problem and taked to them the person on the phone lied to me. The problem! I perchase a refigerator with ice maker. It could not be any clearer that it came with a ice maker. This year alone we bought 9 refigerator's from other dealers. We manager apartments. I bought more than $4200 dollars from this store, which I paid immediately in full as soon as I ordered my furniture, my order was sent too late, incomplete, and some things were wrong or did not work. Well! The issue is that in my order I ordered two folders, which I never received and they never returned my money.
