My wife and I bought a sectional in myrtle beach SC store. It was damaged when they brought it to us and set it up. We called that very day and they told us they would have to order another one. They are terrible people to go through their finance company they would not change my payment date so they can charge me late charges and overdraft my account but my money was put back on my account from my bank now I'll never do business with American freight ever again sorry customer service and they try to take your money from you that you're not supposed to owe them

I purchased a wall oven twice and both times it was delivered broken and it took over 2 months to refund my money and they wanted to charge me a $100.00 restocking fee. The worst ever!!!!

Highly upset with this company I bought living room furniture from them and had issues and the first set was replaced easy no hassles then our second set broke and I filled out a claim for it and the insurance and the store have given me nothing but a hassle and then one person tells me something and another tells me another thing just highly aggravated with this and still not satisfied with the outcome

I financed a stackable W/D and a queen-size bed from the Wichita Falls Tx store. My contract clearly says that after the 2nd payment, I have the option of returning the merchandise without any further obligation, or I can pay it off at that time for the purchase price or pay on it for 2 years with finance charges included. As a business owner of two companies, I would be out of business if we were to conduct ourselves in the manner that American Freight does. We went in after looking at the website which it just so happens every single piece of furniture that was supposed to be a good deal was not in their store inventory. Poor customer service. I did not receive any assistance from anyone on the floor. As I went to the counter to purchase the item, 3 young men stood around behind the counter having conversations as if I wasn’t there. After a couple of minutes they finally acknowledged my presence. They will sell you any appliance, of which you have no way of knowing it actually runs/works. When that $900. dishwasher with a 3 year warranty is dead on arrival, you cannot file a claim online for re-imbursement because their website will not accept ANY amount “under purchase price” that you enter (up to 15 tries). And the phone number WILL NOT let you talk to a real person.
