One of the worse experience ever, besides being negligent, they are incompetent. The laboratory does not have idea of what is going on, they cannot perform the right tests, even worse they don't know anything about some tests. No custody chain of the samples. As results of their incompetence they bill for tests that they have not performed, this is not just an scam, is negligent because the patient don't know the real results. The staff was super awesome with support and care. We brought in our baby girl in this world with the care and love no other hospital in the area could provide. But thats my opinion. Evening time security on the night of May 31st could've done a more professional job tho. Very rude! But the next evening, a different guy was there, and he ask about the care and safety of the family, and was very courteous, and very professional. Thank you all for the time and effort on the 4th floor.
In the past year my husband was hospitalized 10 times at Altru for ongoing pneumonia and other illnesses. Each time we were treated very well and everything was done to keep him comfortable. He passed away on April 9, 2017 from his pneumonia which had become resistant to antibiotics. Thank you to all that helped us let him go. You were all professional but very caring. I know Chuck touched each and everyone in some small way.
Great nurses and great pediatric cardiologist couldn't ask for better service for a child
