Very impressed with the Altru Health System! I would definitely go back there again. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Dr Roller and his staff are top notch!
From the moment I walked in until I left they were great. I was in the icu the one nurse Beth I had was wonderful and Kathleen was my other nurse she was good too. Both the nurses held my hand rubbed my back they were great. And Dr Lapp was great w explaining everything was very gentle after being really sick for over a week I'm starting to get some relief. Worse experience everytime I go. Botched surgery, 11 unnecessary lumbar punctures on an 4 month old infant over an ear infection, urgent care is absolute hell, there is ONE male doctor that I have seen that is the only urgent care doc that seemed to care even a little bit about mine and my son's situation. I have been laughed at by staff. More than twice I have showed up for an appointment that I made AND received a confirmation call for, when I got there the doctor was unavailable or the appointment was "never made". The doctors and nurses were super friendly and helpful, tried to order some food and the kitchen person who answered was a little rude but other than that it was great. They even gave me a coupon for a large pizza when I left 👍
Great experience at Altru! Our 20 year old son needed his appendix removed, the 24 hour experience brought us into contact with many Altru employees. The physicians, nursing staff and support staff were extraordinary, their kindness and compassion far exceeded expectations.
