Unfortunately, I wish I had better information to share with my experience at Altru Hospital GF. After meeting with several staff including the 5th floor manager, patient advocate, discharge / social worker and phsychiatrist to help with my 69 year old mothers dimensia, it was clear that the social worker was quite willing -\-\ and saw it as normal, to wait three days or more for a call back from a mind care patient facility with an answer for a vacancy request (open bed). Altru, overall, provides good basic care. I have had a lot of trouble with them being timely (often waiting 45 min to an hour past my scheduled appointment time) and their billing department is very confused (have provided numerous bills under several misspellings of our name). If I had an alternative choice for care, I would likely make it.
Killed my mom by letting her bleed to death caused by one of their Doctors messing up. Realized she was bleeding a little to late.
With my daughter when she had her baby yesterday on OB!! Excellent, professional and very patient centered!! Thank you for world class care!!

That took very good care of him had patience when I didn't...nurses had time to talk to you when you didn't understand situation's... Very social , professional they were awesome nurses...thank you very much for taking care of my son, much appreciated...�
I had my daughter there by C section and she was in the NICU we had amazing nurses and care there and for that I would rate everything a 5 but bc their financial office is just focused on a bill paid in full when I pay what I can afford monthly and I'm never late. I work full time and I'm a single mom and pay what I can pay, focus on the people who don't pay their bills don't harass the people who pay monthly and intend to pay their debt.
