I purchased an A+ warranty from the Alpha warranty company for my 2015 GMC Terrain, back in May 2019, the cost for this warranty was $2,240. The dealership said this was one of their best extended warranties. Now fast forward to Monday, September 24th, 2019. My shifter wasn't going into drive, the service department informed me it was the shifting mechanism was defective, and apparently this "Specific Part" wasn't covered, if it was a shift linkage it would have been covered. this warranty company have added so much stress to my life they take so long on getting your car fixed my motor went out they sent a motor to shop that motor went out n 2 weeks it to them 6 weeks to get new motor in and this motor sounds terrible oil leaking already after 3 days its riding hard even with warranty i had to pay out of pocket almost $1000 and the wanted me to pay $550 on the new used motor they only can get out of car crashed cars i almost loss my job because i didnt have transportion
This company is an absolute joke. Purchased this warranty at a local car dealership because they claimed it was the absolute best and covered everything. What a joke. We have had our vehicle just over a year and the warranty company has paid out almost 5000 in repairs, while we have shelled out almost 2000 on a vehicle worth maybe 10,000. This warranty is a joke and not worth the money. I just called and you won't cover a blower motor resistor but you will cover the blower motor and blower speed switch which those parts are useless without the blower motor resistor. This warranty has been nothing but a headache and I would never get it again or recommend it to anyone. Also they don't cover fluids so if you have a part that is covered but all the fluids will be drained out to fix that part you will have to eat the cost.
Fantastic customer service, JC H***** is an outstanding rep. The company stands behind all they promise, and they go above and beyond on all services! I LOVE WORKING WITH HONEST AND GENUINE PEOPLE!
Alpha is a joke. They wont cover metal gas lines on my truck. Metal gas lines are clearly list on my warranty. Pathetic.
Worst warranty we have ever dealt with. We have submitted two claims and they refused both. GMC dealer said if we had purchased a warranty from a dealer both these items would have been covered 100%. Auto Haus where purchased the GMC Yukon said they were excellent...maybe excellent in taking our $2,250!!!
Stay out of this scam company... i bought ext warranty from them.. 2 years ago with new car program.. when i brought the car to the dealer ship to do maintenant check up.. the dealer said the turbo charge cooling line leak need to be replace.. and the head cover valve crack.. also need to be replace.. they just dont waht to pay and said the pvc valve cause the problem..i requested a inspecter to come down to check.. they said it a 100$ for them to come down.. and just want to say part of the inigtion.. not cover.. they dont ... read more
paid an EXTRA 3000.00 for my car to be covered. hit 90 days and was due for an routine oil change and come to find out my fuel pump is leaking. mechanic shop and alpha advised not to drive the car (which i agree its leaking fuel near my exhaust pipes and people throw lit cigs out daily). get the car up and apart and come to find out they dont do preventative claims. and i quote "if it hasnt failed then we will not replace it and also the parts are plastic we only replace metal fuel lines." what person do you know that knows ... read more
