I submitted a claim for my water pump being replaced in December 2019 and they helped guide me through the process. They responded in a timely manner and paid accordingly to their warranty agreement. I believe that Alpha is a reputable and efficient company to work with. I am glad that I decided to obtain this warranty when I purchased my 2014 used F-150 truck.

My wife purchased a 2011 Volvo XC60 with a warranty from Alpha through the dealer. I had to take it into the shop recently for a grinding noise which turned out to be the drive shaft. Alpha refused coverage for the replacement because they decided it wasn't really part of the drive train which might have been covered. We've spent thousands on warranties with them on three different vehicles and each have required some expensive repairs for which we have not received one dime. My truck has been in the shop for two weeks now, and it is in year two of a five year warranty. The mechanic shop has contacted alpha over a dozen times and left multiple messages. Along with that I have called on two occasions and am currently on day two of my wait for a call back from the manager. They refuse to call the shop back, even though one person committed to doing so. Purchased a warranty to cover all I was able to including "Seals & Gaskets". Well, now my car needs the gasket inside the oil and coolant housing replaced and Alpha states that this is not a covered part because the gasket is inside a part that is not covered. Apparently, opting for "Seals and Gaskets" coverage does not mean inside parts of the car, which conveniently to Alpha, all seals and gaskets are inside parts. Purchased through auto dealer when I bought the car less than 4 months ago. Come to find out that the pistons and rings need to be replaced. Alpha will not cover anything because the issue is due to carbon build up on the rings/pistons. Conveniently that is one of the exemptions in "WHAT IS NOT COVERED" on the contract. I'd give it negative five stars if it were an option. This is by far the biggest waste of money and time. They dance around any actual answers and refuse to provide any information regarding denial of claims, or offer anything useful. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I purchased a warranty from this company. Stay away! They will not honor their commitment. They look for any way to deny a claim. Good luck talking to a supervisor, they will duck your calls ! Save your money for a repair. This contract is worthless. I’d give negative stars if I could. They remove any bad review online. Anyone that works there should be ashamed of themselves. Anyone that sells warranties at a dealership should steer clear from this company.

I work with a lot of these companies at my repair facility. The contracts are very limited on specific parts that the do replace. This makes the amount of parts that are not covered very large! There are parts that are listed that have not been on cars for over 25 years! It sure sounds good. The do not use a common labor guide and short change the amount of time of on labor operations on EVERY line item that I had for my customer. There process for payment went well. Not worth the money
