Fantastic experience. The food was amazing, with unique flavors and textures that blew my mind. The atmosphere was great and the overall experience was entertaining throughout the entire night. Staff made it even better with knowledge, humor, and engaging conversation.
Alinea was NOT just a mind blowing, amazing tasting food experience, it was the best service I've EVER experienced at a restaurant. My husband & I took our two best friends to dinner on sat night to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. my bff said it best, 'they have such joy, they love working here.' We loved it and it was well worth the wait and cost.

Wonderful culinary experience, over the top creativity. Definitely purchase the cookbook beautiful inspiring coffee table book if you don't cook. Service perfect balance of professionality and personal attentiveness. A real treat! Highly recommend the wine pairing. Now if only I could duplicate the balloons🎈

Went there for wife's 40th. Amazing! More than a meal, an experience that engages all the senses! The staff were phenomenal and extremely friendly and down to earth.

If you like to have mediocre food and rude service in a plain gray 60° (meat locker) room for an outrageous price then this is the place for you..... read all the reviews before you book, I didn't and I paid the price. Rude, rude, rude service and they turn the tables lightning fast, you definitely will leave feeling rushed. Food is gimmick at best, sea bass was chewy, poor food quality (some of it not even edible). Oh and the dessert.. bubble gum... really! It was delicious. The only thing I wish that they could change were the option to the salon or gallery. It should only be the gallery. Even though the service was great, and the food was indeed delicious. I still was a bit hungry and we dined only for a little over an hour. I looked at our time when we left and when we sat down and it was approximately an hour and 15 mins. It just feels a bit rushed for a 3 Michelin starred dinner that we flew in to Chicago for.
