Charging people 300 dollars for jello should be illegal
It was, by far, the most expensive meal I’ve ever had, and worth every penny. Perfection from start to finish.
Absolutely loved it. It was the reawakening I was looking for! Rich complex flavors, heart tugging experience. The food takes you on a journey filled with surprises and warm n fuzzy feelings. Not your traditional Michelin star. The staff was warm and friendly, supporting your experience and open to sharing and exchanging knowledge. Bravo!
Did the Kitchen Table this past weekend and it was the most amazing dining experience i've had. I can't say enough about the service, staff etc... Each presentation was astonishing and left me excited for the next. Seeing how this whole production works was just as inspiring as the meal itself. HIghly recommended
The scene was a dimly lit gallery with maybe 5 tables. The service was pretty good. The staff was warm and inviting. The price is obviously always going to be a sticking point for people but for this experience it was worth it. The plate of the night was a sous vide potato with dairy, truffle, chives and salt; a play on a warm potato salad. This dish was amazing and I could've eaten pounds of it. Some people say its the best meal they've ever had. But it's also probably the most expensive and longest meal as well. I had extremely high expectations but Alinea failed to meet my expectations on quality of food, innovation, and service. If you suck up to the wait staff, you actually can get pretty nice extra things like free glass of wine or extra dessert but if you're a regular person who doesn't interact super extra with servers, you'll be cheated out of the extras and pretty blatantly (that is so rude). Amazing experience at the Gallery! Multi sensory and truly surprising with delicious food and matched wine - we loved it! The service was also exceptional especially to the concierge for assisting us with a re booking - massive thank you!
