I had a billing issue due to them submitting their bill late to my insurance company. I had a stay in the hospital and met my “out of pocket” for the year. Nearly a year later, they submitted a bill to UHC which was too late according to their contract. The insurance company assured me I was not responsible for the bill. Absolutely not! They take 5 hours to take care of you then they check in maybe 3 times on you in the ER. If you actually cared you’d check more on your patients!
Wonderful, caring, Professionals who want only the finest care given to their patients and visitors! I was in their employ for 28 yrs, and I commuted 100 miles round trip, 5 days a week to become the “Original” Infant Teacher when Alexian Brothers Childcare Center, first opened its doors on April 17, 1989. Ever since alexian brothers merged with amita it has become a horrible facility. not only did I have to page my own doctor 6 times from my hospital bed but I was told by said doctor he didn't even know who I was or that he had a patient in this room. yet he's been ordering meds.Also I had already been admitted for several hours when I finally spoke to the doctor (sunkara) Then there's the nurse who literally didn't answer the call light for 4.5 hours. do not take your kids there. They are not a priority according to the nurse who had an attitude! waited almost 2 hours or better before they actually got us to a room to see a doctor. everyone's child should be a priority! 103.7 fever is a priority. my stomach turned when I saw 4 nurses laughing and joking around doing nothing when people were in so much pain. never again!
