With all of my problems, I felt comfortable sharing with the staff and doctor and they addressed all of them with ease. I feel I’m finally in good hands.
Thank you for being the dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor that you are. You went above and beyond and work so hard towards giving everyone a healthy and happy outcome. After two hour wait today - I left the office without seeing the doctor. The staff kept coming in the exam room to say he would be with me shortly and finally a PA came in and said I wouldn’t be seeing the doctor today. I left telling them I will not be back. As a new patient this is a horrible introduction to someone that you hope to have on your medical team.
Yes, most of the staff are pleasant. I’ve been to this office 5 times now and have only seen the Dr once. The wait time today was 1.5 hrs, even though I arrived early in the morning. Today it was a PA again that came in to give me test results - not the Dr. I have medical decisions to make and it is shocking that a PA came in and said ‘here are a couple of options you can do whatever you want’.
The staff at this office is always caring, professional, pleasing and with a smile on their faces. Dr. Sousa is extremely busy and that is a little bit of a problem because the waiting time to see him can be very long. But he has a very good team of physician assistants, nurses and clerks that assist.
Called at 8am needing an appointment for my husband. Was seen at 10am. Amazing group of compassionate people.
Negative for the fourth time (and last). Waiting over 1.5 hours is ok in an urgent situation but in this freezing office it's a way of life. All the chairs in the waiting room were occupied and there were people standing, waiting. Standing room only in a doctor's office? This means that the practice is under constant pressure because there are 20 or more people waiting to be seen. They need a practice manager. Everyone is rushed or rushing. I've been seeing DR Sousa for many years. I can say he is an excellent, compassionate, caring doctor...that is when you actually get to see him. Since he joined the Millennium Group, everything has gone dramatically down hill. All I ever see are PAs, never the same one. If I ask a question, the canned response is "I'll ask the Dr and get back to you." But they never do get back to me. The office is just as bad. Started going to Dr. Miranda-Sousa a few weeks ago, I’ve had two appointments and had to wait two hours each time. Also in a posted mask environment he has staff that do not adhere to that rule and make up excuses to justify their failure to comply. Bad experience Dr. Sousa, you have some major problems with the staff.
