Don’t mind even going to this office if I can give zero stars I would I waited two hours to be seen. They called me back on my way to my room. I saw the staff only laughing and playing around . In the hallway I waited in the room another 15 minutes until somebody else came in to take my blood pressure and then waited another 20 minutes to be seen by a PA and not a doctor don’t waste your time to go there only to be seen by a PA .bad place don’t recommend
Dr. Miranda Sousa is excellent however the office is very poorly run. Under Millennium it was bad always a full waiting room and appointments were about 45 minutes or more late. Now that they are no longer under Millennium it is worse. Two weeks with no phone or computer access. Had to leave a message and wait two days for a call back after having a reaction to medicine. DO NOT GO TO SEE DR. MIRANDA-SOUSA. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DID NOT SEE DR UNTIL 3RD VISIT. 3RD VISIT WAS UNNECESSARY EVASIVE PROCEDURE. THE OFFICE LET ME SUFFER WITH KIDNEY STONE FOR 3 MONTHS WHILE I WAS IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN. DURING AN UNNECESSARY CYSTOSCOPY (WHERE I CRIED IN FRONT OF THE NURSE BECAUSE IT WAS VERY EVASIVE AND HUMILIATING TO HAVE A DOCTOR I NEVER MET PERFORM THAT PROCEDURE) I FELT VIOLATED. This was my first appointment. I received several messages the week before my appointment to remind me of my appointment and the need to arrive 30-minutes early. I arrived early as requested to find no available parking. I then waited over 90 minutes in the waiting room. Once moved to an exam room, I then waited over 30 minutes to be seen by a PA. Never did see the doctor. I then had to wait in line for 15 minutes to check out. I will not return and will ask my primary care physician for a referral to another urologist.
My husband has been a patient of Dr Miranda Sousa for years. The last year has been horrible. Never sees doctor sees associates. Many issues with bladder and prostate. Ended up in Emergency Roo. 2 days after visit. Catheter and bag...went to Dr Sousa on Friday, removed bag, ended up in hospital Saturday with sepsis, e coli and serious infection. 4 days in Intensive Care and 4 more in hospital. Appointments are waiting for 3 hours and then quick in and out! He could have died under your care!
Awful never again nurse practitioner very rude
My wife and I got tired of waiting 2 hours for our appointments, and getting to see only the nurse practitioners. We found other urologists who have a better appreciation for a person's time, and can address the health issues that we're dealing with.
Dr. Sousa is a great Doc. He’s extremely knowledgeable in his field and has what other specialists lack which is personality. He makes you feel at ease while going through stressful times. I would highly recommend Dr. Sousa!
