Great bedside manner but always overbooked and rushed. Previous practice had wonderful staff as well. Current practice wants patients to deal w/ unneccessary red tape. Wife has seen Dr M-Sousa for past 8 yrs and was a patient with U.E. before that. We made an appt for incontinence medication refill, but because he changed practices they cancelled 2 days before "she's a new patient and needs a referral and insurance pre-approval" and rescheduled for a MONTH later. Dr. Miranda-Sousa’s office has been running 2-3 hours late for appointments since switching to Millennium group. This is the 3rd appointment in a row that this has occurred!! He has zero respect for his patients time!! It should be a crime to waste everyone’s time like this!!!
My wife and I have been going to the Fort Myers office the last 2 years. Although they appear competent, they overbook and each time we wait 1-2 hours for our appointment. Yesterday my wife waited 2 hours past her appointment time just for them to go over her latest urinalysis report. In addition, they have 2 online systems for electronic check-in. Top notch from top to bottom. I wouldn’t see any other urologist.
My father has a large aggressive tumor in his bladder. Dr Sousa cared for him quickly and kindly by removing the tumor ASAP. His staff was professional and caring. Both Dr Sousa and his staff gave my frightened parents peace of mind and hope by carefully explaining the procedure, what was expected and answering their many questions.
