I had been dealing with penile tip pain for the last 15 years, and had seen 5 Urologists from FT Myers to Tampa. I did some research with my last Urologist, thinking it might possibly be pelvic floor distress. He recommended me to Dr. Alejandro Miranda-Sousa. Dr. Miranda Sousa is a wonderful doctor. I have been with him for 7 years and he has helped me through prostate cancer and other medical issues. Unfortunately I have had to wait over an hour and a half and left before being seen for my last 3 appointments. Scheduling is an issue that needs to be addressed and forcing me to find a new urologist.

Dr. Miranda-Sousa is an outstanding, skilled doctor and a caring, compassionate person. He treated me with patience and empathy, made sure I understood everything about my treatments, and consistently made me feel like my health and my needs were his main concern. Dr. Miranda-Sousa is an Excellent Urologist. He listens very carefully and takes enough time with his patients . It is the first time in 10 years, an Urologist looked for the reason I had a problem. Then he suggested the appropriated therapy, with excellent results. He has a great team to work with and they all take good care of you. Every body is polite and very friendly. It is a nice experience to go to his clinic. I strongly recommend him.

The Doctor is a very nice man and helpful, but the waiting time is absolutely ridiculous. When I wrote him a letter about the shameful wait times, he did not even respond. Had his staff contact me, but never apologized for the fact I had to wait 4 hours for a surgical procedure at Cape Coral Surgery Center. Was told not to eat after midnight, but did not get home until 8PM the next day without food. My experience was so bad, I will never go back, even though he is a good doctor.

The Office phone is very busy and it is hard to get a prescription other than that l like him and he answers all my questions so that I can understand in lay-mens terms.

He is a very knowledgeable and skilled doctor but he is ALWAYS behind schedule. The average wait is anywhere from one to two hours sitting in a straight back chair in his waiting room. That is very rude and inconsiderate for his patients. It shows a lack of respect. I would not recommend him for that reason.

After many years of VA treatment for cancer. Dr Sosa took the best of care of me. Doctor is one of the most compassionate doctors I have met. Yes we have long wait times. Dr Sosa stops treating patients to take emergencies from the hospitals. That makes him late sometimes. I would spend a day waiting rather than get a fast doc that does not take time to treat properly the whole patient.
