Dr. is excellent. Staff is lousy. Twice I have checked in and then been forgotten. When I go to the desk I get "Oh, my goodness, come right back!! Am considering changing doctors. Not because of Dr. Miranda- Sousa, but because of his staff. This needs to be brought to his attention. Usually this is taken care of by his office manager. Maybe he is not aware that this is happening. Very upset after today's visit. I hope he sees this. If I decide to keep my next visit, I will mention this to him.

Unfortunately, this review is not good news. I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Miranda-Sousa. Not only did I have to wait over two hours, but I was seen by a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) and not the doctor that I made the appointment for. No mention of seeing a PA/NP was made when I scheduled the appointment with the doctor. I arrived early and had to wait for over two hours with a room filled with patients. Have been a patient for a few years now. Never saw the same person twice. Booked with the doctor and seen by other medical staff in training. Front desk staff extremely unpleasant. Requested a prescription refill 5 days ago. I've been taking this medication for a few years now. They do not allow you to speak with a real person to request refills. You must leave a voicemail. Dr Miranda Sousa performed emergency surgery for me yesterday. He was bedside manner was wonderful. So reassuring and made me feel at ease about the surgery. After he stopped by recovery and checked in on me. As far as the surgery it has honestly been the best recovery of all my kidney stone surgeries In the past. I highly recommend him !,

Dr. Miranda-sousa is the best urologist in town.His staff are all amazing. He will give you all the time you need.Darian also amazing provider. Best office to get treated at.I definitely recommend getting an office visit with urology experts. The name says it all .

I have been seeing Dr. Miranda-Sousa since early this year, 2020. He has brought a fresh new and expert look to my understanding of my urological conditions. AND, his staff is amazing. At my first visit, I met his Physician's Assistant a young gentlemen who explained my MRI to me in great detail...better than most doctors in the past. I have been going to Dr. Miranda-Sousa's for several years and he is the best! Experience counts and he has it in every aspect. True sometimes you have to wait, but Alejandro is definitely worth the wait. After all if you want the best urologist it is a small price to pay.

I had been dealing with penile tip pain for the last 15 years, and had seen 5 Urologists from FT Myers to Tampa. I did some research with my last Urologist, thinking it might possibly be pelvic floor distress. He recommended me to Dr. Alejandro Miranda-Sousa. I had an appointment within a week, and was diagnosed for pelvic floor therapy. He and his nurse, Griselda helped me almost back to 100% pain free within 7 weeks, including at-home exercises.
