I had an appointment for a semi annual maintenance check with James River AC, the technician Mike Jones called my home & cell phone prior to coming for my scheduled appointment as expected. I did not answer either phone , as I was next door talking to my neighbor. Mike decided to come by my home anyway, since he was near by. Called and was told that my system was still under parts warranty. (Only 4 years old) I told them the part that was broken, and they said that for the service fee, if that part was broken, they would replace it. (Even if they had to come back, there would be NO additional service fee) The technician arrived, verified that the part was broken, then says that they would cover the cost of the part, but they wanted an additional $134 to install it, plus an additional $128 to pick the part up! I was so appreciative of James River AC for responding quickly two weeks ago during the hottest days of the summer when my AC stopped working. Chris L. came out to diagnose the situation and determined the unit needed a part to get it up and running effectively again. Unfortunately the part wasn't available at that time, but he did not leave me without some cool air. I give God all the praise for a company that gives back to the community. They came out and checked my furnace and saw it was more than the motor that was needed. Meanwhile put in 2window units because it was 105 degrees outside heat with humidity (felt like it). I helped someone the week before and they helped me. I thank everyone that came together to make this happen. All the installers were nice and knowledgeable & the job was quick. Thanks a million James River Heating & Air
I received a complete heating and cooling system today. My techs/installer Stan and Jeremy was awesome! Their customer service was very good. We even got a few laughs in throughout the day. They told me give the system couple of hours to kick in, they left at 4pm my house was cool at 7pm. Great customer service from sales(Jason M) to the install.. Thank you! Great work!!
Mike Jones did an extremely professional job in fixing and explaining the issue with our heat pump.
