We purchased a part for our vehicle. Within 2 months it was worn out & this is a part that should outlast the life of the vehicle. I went back to where I purchased it from, bought another & was told when I take the one off that isn't any good to bring it back & they'll refund me my money. I went back to the store this morning with the part as well as my receipt. If I could give less than a star I would. My $200 battery had a cracked cell and is only 2 years old, because it had such a low % of power they would not replace the WARRANTIED battery. They cited "misuse" or "disuse" but it was in my car that I drive every day. I will not be purchasing anything from this chain again!

Message: I just purchased 8 sparkplugs for my Ford F-150 which came out to be around $80 and the receipt and even the cashier said if I filled out the rebate form I would be credited $2 back for each spark plug, I thought ok cool so 2 days later I filed online and everything said it went through. I bought a battery for my car online on Saturday, May 2, at 2:00 pm. They were to deliver it on the same day and sent me an email at 4:00 pm, stating that my order is on my way. I took out the old battery immediately to give it to the delivery person, but they did not bring the new one. Today, Sunday, May 3, I waited for until 1:00 pm, they still did not deliver my battery, then I called the customer service. I walk into Advance Auto today(3/31/20) with my wife and see three employees idling behind the counter. There was no greeting, no "Can I help you?", not even so much as a look in our direction. Over 20 minutes into our search for products, with no assistance, I finally had enough and walked out, again. Since when is it ok for supposed professionals to dismiss their customers? I paid $49 for rear brake pad the initial service was slow and unaccommodating but my biggest surprise was when I got home and open the box and found used brake pads. I contacted the store and they repeatedly told me that they check the boxes and they would not exchange them when I went in to the store I was met by a very incompetent cashier named Pete and a ignorant self righteous bottom of the barrel associate named Anthony who did nothing to help but did hurl insults. Can of 134a was damaged on nozzle connection. Two cans were OK. Went to return defective can of 134a with receipt and was denied until I caused an uproar. Never will buy any automotive parts from advance auto again.

Never shop at Advance auto parts. I ordered parts for a client on 02/20 and got only two of my parts delivered out of five items. When I checked my order, I noticed that all of them have the SAME tracking number, I was a bit confused but I decided to contact customer service. After telling them my situation they told me they’ll have UPS investigate and get back to me in 8 business days so I had to contact my client to let him know what’s going on.
