I purchased oil online form advanced and then I took my old oil out of my vehicle, I then looked at the new oil they had shipped me and it was incorrect. I called the store closest to me and they could not help because they don’t ship so I called customer service and the lady was not polite, the wait time was over 10 min. on hold and they were not helpful. I am not going to have to Uber to a different store and back to get oil. What a useless company. I will take my dollar somewhere else.

My daughter picked up an alternator for me.. because my truck was broke. Gave my phone number and name. It was the wrong part/connector. Took it back to the store never hooked it up. Have the receipt but they refuse a refund because it was paid with her debit card. Refused cash refund. I offered my card, they still refused. Because you know people should just hand over there debit card to whoever asks for it.

We appreciate your feedback. General Manager of store **** is willing to process a refund for the alternator. However, this does need to go back to the original form of payment with the actual purchaser. We do not give back cash as it does need to go back to the debit card used for the purchase.

This past weekend I purchased replacement rotors and brake pads. The original Rotors were purchased with brake pads last spring from Advanced Auto. The issue became noticeable a few months ago and had gotten worse and worse. When I purchased the rotors from Manager **** I went home started the job and got everything apart and cleaned. Went to install the new rotor, the holes did not match up to the hub. I took the 30 min ride back to Advanced Auto to swap them out. Now dealing with 2nd shift employee. Worst customer service! Don’t notify you an item is non-refundable until after there’s a problem. That’s something that should be started prior to purchase so the customer can make an informed choice. Everyone who walks in isn’t a mechanic so there’s no way of knowing what usually happens in the automotive world! If your return policy states “some” items are non-refundable those items should be clearly identified!

Worst customer service --Placed an order online and managed to cancel it before it shipped. They successfully cancelled the order but never issued a refund. Sent multiple emails requesting an update on my refund or for someone to get back to my with a basic acknowledgement of my request to no avail. they did contact me initially telling me that they would cancel the order but chose to ignore my requests for an update on my refund Worst customer service ever!!!

Advance Auto Parts uses mail-in rebates on their products, which is an intentionally deceptive and confusing practice that needs to end. I will refuse to buy from Advance Auto Parts as long as they continue to offer rebates.

Do not purchase batteries from Advance they will do there best to not warranty anything. My company purchases several thousand dollars worth of parts a year from them, the one time we have a warranty claim their exact words are sorry not my problem. ****at the *********** **store that is exactly why your working this job. Your a jerk! We have moved all our business to Oreillys they have went out of their way to take care of the company.

Advance Auto Does NOT Honor Their Own Written Price Match Guarantee. As of today's date Advance Auto refuses to honor their own written "Advance Auto Parts Price Match Guarantee". They may change this written policy in the future but as of today's date they have no exclusion for Car/Truck Battery. I applied for a $20.00 rebate on an item that I only purchased because of the rebate. My claim was approved on 06/27/2020 and the e-mail said it can take 6-8 weeks. I checked in on the tracking webpage and see, payment processing 08/06/2020 (week 6), payment sent 09/10/2020 (week 11). I called to check on the rebate 09/29/2020 (week 14) and the lady said it must be lost and she would send it again.
