I purchased a battery for $245, then decided to return the battery approximately 30 minutes later, but was told batteries couldn't be returned. We were not notified by the associate who checked us out that batteries were non refundable. However, when my husband attempted to return the battery, the guy told him the note was on the entrance door. I live approximately 2 miles from the nearest advance auto parts store. it would not make since to go any where else when shopping for auto parts, now would it? Wrong!! My experience with this store is that I have went into this store four times in the last couple of months to purchase basic things like an oil change kit, a set of brake pads or even a simple quart of oil. This is not the first bad experience I've had with Advanced Auto Parts, the only reason my fiance continued to shop there is because of the convenience in location. ANYTIME we've ordered a part their scheduled delivery is never arrived as promised. ANYTIME I've gone in by myself I am talked down to because I'm a women in a parts store, like I don't know what I'm doing or buying. Don't fall for their Speed Perks offer. They get all your information by offering a 25% discount, send an email with confirmation (no exclusions). Then when attempting to purchase items, I find items are excluded from the offer. Bad Business and very unethical practice! Without the discount, their price is 20% higher than nearby competitors. Will never purchase anything from Advanced Auto Parts.

I have been purchasing everything automotive that they carry for 2yrs now without ever checking prices with other parts dealers. They always carry Delo 100 40wt for my 8v92ta silver. I ordered 8 gals of this oil and filter for an oil Chang on 5/14/18. Was told it would be in on 5/15/18. Went in on 5/16/18. They forgot to order. Be in on 5/17/18. Went in 5/17/18 no oil. Called today 5/18 @5:00 they will call me right back. It is now 6:30 on Friday night and my dump truck needs an oil change before Monday morning. Advance auto... read more

what a joke of a company bought a battery from them that's still under warranty and they wont warranty it called corporate customer service they told me because they cant find it in there system oh well we wont warranty it go buy another battery never again will i give this place a dime

My battery was dead when I woke up on the morning of January 2, 2018. I had to get a jump to get my truck started. I immediately sent my partner to Advance Auto Parts to have my battery checked. He went into the store where two customer service reps were casually standing around talking. He asked them to do a battery check. One of them made the comment "I knew somebody was going to come in there this morning asking to have a battery checked" in a snide manner as if this was an inconvenience to him. Tried to get a part for my daughters car. I'm aware that it is older, a 91 Benz. But I was treated like it was some sort of exotic 1 off production car! That they don't carry parts for such a vehicle. Also that I'd have to come and prepay for it. I try to shop locally but when treated in such a way I'll do my business online. Plus when I looked the part up the their website it was $17.99 price quoted on the phone ended up being closer to $60? I can get the same part from Amazon for less and it'll be here tomorrow instead of ... read more
