I hate advance Auto they are the worst store to ever buy parts from I brought a power steering pump they sold me the wrong one I go to exchange it they told me it was nothing they can do because I didn't have the receipt which the associate never gave me but he did take my number but for some reason it's not showing up in the system the associate there told the store manager that I did buy the part there but still she said it's nothing they can do so now I'm trying to get in touch with the district manager to see if he can h... read more

I'm very dissatisfied with my customer experience die to the simple fact of pricing. Online prices of Advanced Auto Parts (for me: air filter and wiper blades) do not match in store prices. After purchasing items in store (assuming I would receive the same price as online) I quickly realized I overpaid for in-store purchases. When I returned to the store to bring up purchasing differences of online items, I was told "that's a different company" and "there is nothing we can do". Buying auto parts from advance auto parts is the equivalent of buying auto parts without any warranty at all. Lets say no other parts store in the area has the part I need except advance so Im forced to do the unthinkable: buy an auto part without any warranty at all. Oh, they tell you it has a warranty, a great warranty, lifetime sometimes. But when you bring it back they NEVER HONOR THE WARRANTY. The latest faulty item was a 2 year warranty battery that died in 11 months. So moral to the story? Don't be in a hurry like me ... read more

They sell parts saying there lifetime warranty then when you bring them in for return. They told me it was only a limited time warranty. I looked at my recite and say life time on it. Had to show them to exchange my breaks. I will never shop at these store ever again

They do not honor limited 'lifetime' warranty on wearever brakes. Bought the gold pads 105 days ago, only to have one pad completely disintegrate on a rear wheel. They claim it's my caliper's fault, not workmanship. Well, thats sometimes true except that the caliper is in good condition and in proper working order, no leaks, everything slides as it should being only a few years old. I'd leave zero stars if it were feasible. Because they are close to my house, I've dealt with them a few times. Here are two examples: 1.) I went into buy a headlight bulb for my wife's Toyota Rav 4. There was no book to look up what I needed, so the counter person looked it up on their computer and gave me the number. When I tried to install it, it didn't fit. It turns out that the person gave me the number for the high beam bulb, not the low beam bulb. They didn't bother to ask which I needed or to tell me that the RAV 4 a... read more

I went into Advance Auto Parts Store to pick up some parts and had waited until my turn. They did not know about the parts I had called earlier in the day about so I proceeded to tell them that I needed an ac conditioner / dryer and anything else that would be needed for this install. Before I could finish I was asked to step aside so they could wait on this man that came into the store after I had already been there approximately 10 minutes.
