Long story short They have my new battery and the $165 I paid for it. Believe it or not!!! Manager said he'd make it right. Never heard from him.

Advance auto parts is the only automotive store in the industry that will not honor a lifetime warranty on impact tools without a receipt when I tried to explain that every automotive store has their own certain numbers on their tools to prove it from them on lifetime tools I have never had a problem anywhere else I've been doing automotive work for two and a half years when I try to explain that to the lady at the auto parts store in ******** *******she decided to tell me have a good day and kept speaking over me every time... read more

Horrible. Mislabeled parts and they don't stand behind their warranties. I bought an Aisin timing belt kit, and its came with a Mitsubishi belt (not Aisin), and some no-name tensioners DESPITE the box clearly claiming it was all Aisin parts. Before that I bought a starter and paid a mobile mechanic $100 to install. 3 months later it died. I traded out for another starter and paid the mechanic another $100 and 3 months later it died. This store is listed as a UPS drop off site. On 10/13/21 I dropped off a package for UPS to pick up. UPS never picked up. Today, 11/6/21, I called the store 6468 and spoke to a woman who was very rude. I called to see if my package was still there. She said hold on and sat the phone down. After a couple of minutes, I said Hello?, and she said I'm still here. A couple minutes later, someone hangs the phone up. So I drive (5 min away) to store 6468 and asks to speak to the manager. This is the 3rd time I've had an issue with this store and giving me the wrong parts or part number this store needs a serious looked at by upper management. they are rude and don't care how they treat or talk about customers behind their back once they leave or place them on hold. Refused to credit me for the return of a battery core because I didn’t have my original paper order. They refused to look up the order - won’t ever buy from them again.

Im tired of going into advanced and looking for a part thats 20$ online that you all want to charge x5 that for the same part you guys need to stop price gouging people for real sh**s old

I HAD TO GO TO ADVANCE AUTO PARTS NEAR ***** *** ****** *** ** ********** ********FOR A NEW BATTERY. THIS NICE YOUNG MAN PUT IN THE NEW BATTERY BUT AS HE WAS FINISHING UP PUTTING THE STRAP DOWN, HE DROPPED A NUT. HE MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO FIND A REPLACEMENT NUT BUT WAS STRUGGLING. HIS MANAGER TONY WAS OF NO HELP!!! HE IGNORE THE YOUNG MAN TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT. FINALLY, AFTER MANY TRIES, TONY DECIDED TO HELP. BY THIS TIME I WANTED A PURCHASE A WHOLE NEW STRAP.
