I am extremely disappointed with this company and the way it does business. We had a rep come by and quote us on solar panels. We were honest and told him we were waiting on an electrical inspection and our new electric panel to be connected from some work we had recently done. They told us it was fine and just to send pictures when our new box was connected. Once completed, we sent the photos. The next update we got was that the permit was rejected and they needed to fix the permit app. Then we didn't hear back for 3 months... read more

Its new and so far it seems to be working fine and making almost 1/2 of the total amount of the power that we are using

This company is a fraud, my panels are not producing energy, nobody responds to me or takes responsibility, I have sent emails, I have made calls, I have tried with a good attitude and respect, I have sent proofs, but they always say that the person who takes my case no, you will not work with them, never buy, they will steal your money, there is never a tax refund, they will not give you credits in the city when they cut off your energy, I do not speak English well they cheated on me they stole my money I post photos of ema... read more

Last year I agreed to have ADTSolar install a solar system for my house so that when the power grid goes down, the solar panels will still provide electric power to my house. I was told it will save on my electric bills making the cost worthwhile. The system has been a failure in every way. First of all, if the grid goes down, as it did recently, the solar panels shut down. They still generate electricity when the sun is shining, but I am not allowed to use any of it. ADT seemed reputable, having been around so long. I failed to check the BBB before signing a contract. It took about 3 months before any work was done then everything seem to move fast and they got everything, according to them, ready to run. They told me I had a Enphase unit that would tell me how my solar panels were operating. This would show up on my iPhone. And I could tell if any panels werent working, the amount of electricity was being used and produced. Well that worked for two days. I called my manager and said its... read more

I too am writing a bad review for ADT Solar. It is really scary to see so many complaints about this company. I hope that all of you who are not happy including me as will will make sure we spread the word not to ever purchase for ADT Solar.We had a very nice and expensive thermostat in our home but ADT wanted to change it. It has never worked. We can been calling about this for over 4 months with no response.
