We contacted ADT Solar for a consultation back 3 weeks ago. They scheduled an appointment for 1 pm on a Saturday. By 2:30 no one showed so I called customer service to see where the technician was and was told they "have no way to check that or fo contact them, so they just have to reschedule." Rescheduled for 2 weeks after the initial appointment, waited an hour past the appointment time and no one showed up again. I am beyond disappointed, upset, manipulated, and tricked when ADT solar "specialist" knocked on my door and I opened it. He asked me how much we pay for the energy in our house, and asked for our bill, which was $200; he promised how the solar could lower it so much less. I told him I had to think about it since it sounded too good. Little did I know that he collected my daughter's phone number and gave it to his company. Everything the agent told us before we purchased the panels are not happening. I still get charged a lot from TEP plus the loan payment went up by 40% after a year or so. Our roof was bad before they install the panels and they never told us or they never inspected it. They just installed the panels as it is. When we had the first rain after the Solar panels got installed, our roof started leaking through our ceiling in multiple areas. I just want to express how furious I am with ADT Solar who used to be Sunpro. First off, the installation took over a year in total. First, they told me I only needed so many panels for what I wanted. Well, they were wrong and not only did I have to get more panels, I had to double it from the original ones put on. I was about to sign a contract with another company in May of 2022 and boy do I regret not going with them and going with ADT. I originally signed a contract with ADT in June of ****************************************************** October of 2022. ADT bills in advance! They never give you service and then bill you!!!I canceled my service in July 2023. In August I was billed again. I have another **************** billing me for the same period. Not nice! I called ADT to complain reaching someone in the ******************. He tried to explain to me that when you cancel, they bill you again. Installation was very poor. An above ground install was done due to the pitch of my house. *** Pro bragged about having their own team to do the install. The frame that was used to hold the solar panels did not hold up, I have lost many solar panels from the wind. They came back once to install new ones and the repair guy stated that when it was installed the team did not tighten them down enough. ADT does not deserve an A+ rating.
