Zero stars. I had a horrible hail storm almost two months ago. They wouldn’t even schedule me to have the panels removed so that I could get a new roof until I paid 50% of the invoice cost (over $6,000). So obviously I had to wait for the insurance check. I paid them the money last week and I still haven’t been contacted to have the panels removed or to even be placed on the schedule. Customer service is horrible. Can’t contact the local office. Horrible experience.

Constantly dealing with new people during instalation process Wish I would of canceled cause now the system is supposedly up and running but I haven't seen a decrease in my electric bill Call customer service and they tell me I have to get into a program with my electric company. Mean while it took 5 months to get it installed while they worked a deal with electric company Have a 2 way meter installed. This company started out as Sun Pro and changed its name to ADT Solar. My roof was about 3 years old when the put the solar panels on. They installed about 10 panels which has about 16 feet on them that has to be screwed into your roof. This means put wholes in your roof. At least 4 out of 16 feet leaked. They came out and patched the roof several times. Several different people. The boss or man in charge of these people is clueless about what they have to do. The Solar panels don't work half the time. They rely on YOUR inte... read more

ADT Solar did a fine job of showing up and installing the solar panels and converter boxes. The problem was the installation was done in January 2023 and it took 5 months to get the final inspection done and turn-on letter to activate the system. No one from ADT Solar came to the house to turn on the system to make sure everything worked properly. A person from their office called and told me to go out and throw the switch. Once the system was turned on I have had a Red led fault light on the converter box. I have reported t... read more

I am extremely disappointed with this company and the way it does business. We had a rep come by and quote us on solar panels. We were honest and told him we were waiting on an electrical inspection and our new electric panel to be connected from some work we had recently done. They told us it was fine and just to send pictures when our new box was connected. Once completed, we sent the photos. The next update we got was that the permit was rejected and they needed to fix the permit app. Then we didn't hear back for 3 months... read more
