Do not purchase a solar system from ADT! I started my Solar purchase in July 2022.I was told that it **** be installed before December. I kept calling for updates and when my call was finally returned, always got the same answer, that they were working on it. Finally, I received a call that my panels would be installed in December, but the installer told me that they do not hook the systems and it would be done by the electrician. We started interviewing several solar companies, and decided to go with ADT, thinking its a big reputable company, oh boy were we wrong. The very friendly sales person closed us on a ground mount 127K project on a concrete slab in early 2022. It's now March 2023, we have been given the run around, passed on from one new supervisor to the next, our loan even expired since ADT could not deliver on time. We have waited 10 months for ADT Solar to install a system. They call weekly to say they are working on it, but yet nothing has happened. Not one piece of the install has occurred. They have run my credit numerous times, racking up hard inquiries; I have been approved every time. I do not trust they are capable of this install and fear the equipment I purchase will not work and not be covered by a warranty. Stay away from this company at all costs! My solar unit was installed In August 2022. My meter and permission to operate by ************* was finished in mid December 2022. My system is still not operating and they owe me payment checks for ******* and February. If you don't believe me, check out their dismal 1.86 out of 5 rating and the myriad of complaints they have with the Better Business Bureau. Can't get anyone to return my calls. The sales guy (*******) sat at my kitchen table and promised me, not once, but multiple times that I would get 26 percent back with my taxes and that I had to pay back to the loan company to keep my payment at 300. Just did my taxes. I'm not eligible. My solar bill plus my electric is double what I was paying for electric. Do not use this company. They will tell you anything just to get you to buy. We were very excited to get solar and the salesman we had was very helpful. We had to cut down quite a few trees to get solar which we were told that ADT would reimburse us for. Months went by with out starting but many resigning moments finally someone dropped off a permit. A few weeks later the electrician showed up to install the electrical part of the solar. After 8 months of ADT trying to get the white elephant they sold me up and running I got a second notice from the power company that there are corrections that need to be made before they will install the production meter. I have reached out to ADT and as expected nobody will pickup or return a call. Our agreement says that the system will be operational approximately 120 days from when the contract was signed, we are now double that and still no solar. I had my system installed almost a year ago. Final inspection has not happened yet. I would not trust this company with your roof. They have totally let me down.

Had my solar contract signed in July of 2022. Install was great. It was Sept 15th 2022. Ever since then it has been down hill. They reported install completed to the finance company and my system has yet to be turned on. Every time someone comes out it's a different issues. You try to call the office and no one answers the phones. Or you leave a message for the account manager and he never returns my phone calls.
