Great food, server did the best she could since other people working floor didnt do squat ! Definitely has gone down hill since Joe passed !!
Stopped in before heading to the 4th of July firework celebration and received good food with fabulous with a smile service!! :-)
It's just not the same as it was when Joe was alive. Has gone progressively downhill.
Nice place and fast friendly service, but food was horrible!

I had breakfast there for the first time in 15 years. I have had breakfast there since 1968 off and on. First, my order was wrong. Second, the sausage patties were so over cooked and tough, they were not edible, and once the only server dropped off my plates, she wasn't to be found until I was ready to pay. By then, I had been there over an hour and it wasn't worth my time to complain. I just wanted to leave!
My husband and I have been going to Alcapoco Joe's for two years. We have always had outstanding service and food. BUT...tonight was a totally different story. Chips and salsa was served, our order taken....fast forward 30 plus minutes later, we had watched a two top table, a four top table AND a table of eight get their meals, and ALL three tables were seated AFTER we were. So called today for taco Tuesday and was informed that since it was carry out I would have to pay full price. Something new I was told. Been going there for over 20 years and has been going down hill for a while. Will never eat there again.
