I buy all my appliances and electronics from ABT and have been a customer for many years. Normally I look up what I want to buy and then place the order through live chat. They are courteous, answer any questions I may have and give me the best price possible. Then I just drive to the store and pick up at my convenience. I could have delivery but I work close to the store.

OK...I'm changing this review. I left a bad review on Facebook here, and it caused a call (rightly so) from management. Usually, I love the store, and after receiving the phone call, my less than positive experience this time will not stop me from shopping at the store in the future. What happened was that I was given an incorrect window (of one hour) for delivery, when the normal stated window is two hours. That's on them. I bought a washer and dryer under the counter they delivered it Friday May 11and then told me there was a problem and their ABT plumbers had to come and check it out on Monday May 14 they came and told me. I needed to get a real plumber to fix the problem. Had the plumber come Friday May 18 fixed the problem. And now they came the following Friday May 25 put in the dryer and washer showed me how it worked. On my third load I put in 2 pairs of jeans and 3 polo shirts. Best electronic store I've ever been in! Very clean the people were curious and helpful but not in your way!
Installation by Mikko and Hector was great! Purchaser fail on one item, but Mikko took photos and measurements and sent them to our sales representative to start the exchange process.

Beyond frustrated. Paid about $5,400 for a fridge over 2 weeks ago and had it installed. During the installation, the servicemen found that the waterline and footing were both broken, they stained my floor, and they also forgot to put on the screen at the bottom. I've called numerous times- we've had appointments that were canceled by Abt as they don't have the part. The blame keeps going onto GE. Massive mall space - the biggest electronics and appliance store I've been to anywhere around Chicago. Went for the Dyson store, bought a computer at the Apple store on impulse, got some free coffee and a cookie, and some grilled chicken samples at the door. Welcoming, would go again.
They are very helpful, Alice and Monica at the phone area went beyond regular customer service. They dealt with so many incompetent AT&T employees on the phone. I felt so bad for them, but they were so amazing.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator 18 months ago. So far Abt has been out to repair it 3 times. Each time they send a technician out, he checks out the freezer and tells us they need to get the parts to repair it so we have to wait a week for a second technician to come out and fix it. So far the ice maker has been replaced three times, the freezer has been "fixed" twice (it never gets cold enough to keep the frozen food frozen) and now the refrigerator section is not working.
