I had to cancel my membership due to my health, and concerns with COVID. I provided a letter from my physician as well. Back on January 5th, I received an email stating that it can take up to 22 days to receive my refund, and to email them at any time to check the status. I frequently workout at the ******************** (******, **) location and continue to observe numerous guests either not wearing a mask properly or not at all, even though ****** continues to be under a mandatory ordinance. When I reported this to the front desk in December, I was told the gym retains medical exemptions on file. Although I dont doubt some guests have one, I highly doubt the gym retains the number of exemptions when compared to the number of guests I observe without a mask. I have been a member for 30yrs and have to file a complaint as I no longer feel safe working out at your Blossom **** facility. The club advertises that masks are required inside the facility due to local city requirements. There are signs indicating this in the club but it is really not being monitored by the staff. What is really disturbing is that i am told by the staff that masks are not required in the sauna or steam room where people are closer together. First of all, I have been going to the ************** location since 1995. I thought I would go to work out after their reopening from Covid 19 and find the place to be cleaned thoroughly for once, but... NO. I was exactly the same when It closed at the beginning of the pandemic. Very strong musty odors, dirty floors, restrooms, steam room, and more. ****** 24 Hour fitness club is NOT following Covid mask mandate from Sacramento County, despite repeated attempts over the past 4 weeks to alert management (via numerous email, phone, on site meetings) up through the Club Manager and the District Manager. Approximately ninety percent of guest are not masked. Their policy says safety is their priority and they follow all local COVID regulations, but in practice they do NOT follow policy and do no require masks in the club. This is a fantastic gym!! All the trainers are super nice and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level youre at. I really like how they give me tips and tricks to get the most out of every workout. Ive been going for a little bit and am already seeing a big change in my energy levels and body. Its great! I feel 10 years younger!

To whom it may concern,Overall I am disappointed at how I was handled as a customer, and I have no doubt that there is others with a similar case.I was motivated to get back into the gym in February of 2020. When covid hit in mid March the 24 locations closed down, and shortly after went bankrupt. This is a corporate matter. Spoke to an agent in April, as the clubs were reopening I was called to update my card information. I was advised that I could continue a freeze due to the pandemic so I requested this continue and I would go to the club directly to cancel my membership (I was.
