My husband and his friends were totally embarrassed today at the valley stream location. I had open heart surgery and came into the office before my surgery to change the name and info on the account to his. Everything was fine and he was checking in as usual. I was recently laid off from 24 Hour Fitness which I fine very interesting considering they just got a bail out by filing bankruptcy. I absolutely loved my job and loved everyone at the 24 hour fitness I worked for. But since the *** wanted a bigger bonus he fired 110 facility techs without Prior notice. He is the biggest pos in the business and doesnt care about anyone but himself. When you pay 9k a month for a cleaning crew to be there 20 mins a night yeah you will lose money. I hate when companies false advertise and have horrible customer service. They absolutely took advantage of my autistic daughter, I went in there to buy her a birthday present of physical fitness and personal training, I did not want to leave my credit card of which they basically insisted, and then they continue to charge my card in the excess of $3000. The general manager then said well she was able to drive and come in here so therefore she was smart enough to cancel I was a ****** at his comment, he definitely tried to reel that one back in.
Ive been waiting since 5:00 am for the gym to open. It normally opens at 5:00, but no one was there to open the gym. Its currently 5:30 and no one showed up. This is unacceptable. Im canceling my membership after today because I wasted my time.
After membership of nearly 10 years I cancelled mine today due to huge numbers of people working out unmasked and a staff that apparently doesn't care that we have a state mandate for another 6 weeks. If you're going to flagrantly disregard my health I have other options. People are still getting sick and dying. Do your part.
Hours changed and never went back, yet membership price has stayed the same even well over an entire year later? Unacceptable. We pay the same while this company reaps lower overhead costs at our expense to fatten their bottimline. Maybe a rebrand is in order to avoid misleading more current and prospective customers. This business in Foot Hill Ranch, Lake Forest California is disreputable. After the pandemic hit we called to cancel our membership. As senior citizens, we were concerned about being there. They recommended we put the account on hold to maintain our rate should we want to use it in the future. We never used the gym again after March 11, 2020.
