The manager was very rude and not welcoming at all. I tried using a 3 day pass and was bombarded with questions asking where I got it from, where do I live etc. He is the one that is balding and tries to dress nice for his 9-5 minimum wage job. Wouldnt recommend.
I put a freeze on my account when I deployed. I provided military orders as well. Every. Single. Month. They charged my account. I kept putting freezes on it and they kept charging my account. I got a 3 day pass like the one that is offered directly on their website. I went a second time on the third day and the customer service rep said they aren't letting people in with three day passes. They don't honor their own promotion.
I made the switch to this location from plant fitness because of the amenities such as the hot tub steam room sauna and pool. For the past 2 months the hot tub has been broken. When the club went back to being open 24 hours they had the steam room going off at ****. I go to the gym very late because during the day this location is really crowded. The two stars come from the good layout and being decently clean... they lose 3 stars in my book purely because of the staff. If they aren't talking or sitting on their cell phones, they are the rudest people I deal with here in town. If you see them on cell phones and not paying attention, count yourself lucky that you don't have to deal with such rude, childish people! I joined 24 hour fitness in May of 2022. A young woman working at 24 hour fitness helped sign me up. Before she signed, me up I asked her if I could use a **** prepaid debit card from netspend. She told me yes. From May 2022 to September 2022 I was charged with my prepaid debit card. I always checked my transaction history, and I was always charged my monthly dues. 24 Hour Fitness is charging membership fee for Membership SX77441 for over 2 years for services that were not provided and are not even available in the immediate area. Due to the pandemic the clubs were closed in March of 2020, and the location near my home was never reopened. In October of 2020 I received a notification that they filed for Chapter II bankruptcy. My family of four are all overweight. 2 are obese. We all have memberships and only 2 of the 12 machines specifically designed for cardio are working properly. This has been like this since I joined April of 2021.
I am very concerned about the level of ease to canceling my membership. I just tried to use the website to cancel, but it said I had active membership to cancel. However, they just charged me $39.99 today for my active membership. When I go to freeze my membership, the account is now available to freeze, but that would involve me being charged about $38 if I try and unfreeze it. Plus, they will not allow you to enter the number of months you want the membership frozen. They will allow you to freeze one month and then charge ... read more
