Since covid hit 24 hour fitness has been on a rampage charging people while their gyms are closed. People are also being charged while their memberships have been cancelled months before. Unreal that this company can get away with stealing money from people. They need to be set as an example and be shut down. I will never support this company again.
I requested to cancel my membership back in May of 2018 way before Covid was an issue and now I am being charged for monthly for a membership. I still have my email and confirmation request from May of 2018 of my cancellation but now I am being charged again for a membership I did not apply for and unable to contact this company to correct this issue. Phone service is disabled and no response from emails either. I would give 0 stars if I could.
One of the sleeziest, dirtiest business practices ever. No respect for do not call lists or their members wanting to close their accounts.

I give them no stars. I am so upset. I cancelled our membership in April 2020, as we were no longer able to use the club due to Covid. The company started billing us again, without our knowledge or permission, starting in July 2020. When I tried to contact the company, it is impossible. I keep getting billed after cancelling my membership, and keep having to dispute the charges through my bank account. Tried to cancel my account in May, and was told it was successfully cancelled (still have the email confirmation.) Checked back on the site, and my account showed as TERMINATED. Was billed in July, went back to my profile on their site, and my account showed as active again. Disputed the charge, requested to cancel my account again (2nd time) and never heard anything. John S******* in Santee is the worst person I have ever had to deal with! I had a charge two months after canceling and this fool told me he would only refund half the charge. Then this unprofessional guy wouldn’t tell me his last name to report him, but I found him online. He could’ve simply refunded me and let it be. I will never give that place another dime!
I was a client member of theMIRAMARr location in Florida for 5 years ..do to the pandemic like many others i had to cancel my membership not knowing what the future may bring ....so today i decide it to pass by there to see if i can get some sore of a day pass to see how the new policy work with the scheduling of the work outs and all that stuff ... Absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. If I could do 0 stars, I would. I made the switch to 24 hour fitness ($41/mo) from a comparable, base-level 24-hour gym ($20/mo) because I wanted a pool/ hot tub, sauna/ steam room, group fitness, closer location, and make sure I still had 24 hour access.
