Charged me three weeks after the city forced all gyms to be closed. Tried to keep my money. Con artists, trying to take advantage of people during the pandemic. They are currently being sued. I will never go back. THIEVES!
24 hour fitness is a joke. Now is not the time to steal from your customers. We should not be charged for something that isn’t even open. What kind of business practice is this? I’m disgusted!The phone lines are closed. I can’t seem to find an email address, and they are yanking money out of my dwindling account. My senses tell me they are about to have a class action lawsuit.
Business refuses to respond to my BBB Complaint, next I am filing a dispute with the bank to reverse the charges because I am still being charged for this product they cannot deliver during the crisis.
Club is closed but they're still charging members. Instead of suspending charges, they are just adding more days to the END. Who in the right mind wants to add more days at the END of their membership if they're canceling? This is just greedy and money-grabbing in a time of global crisis. Absolutely pathetic.
This company is is still charging customers while we have no access to facility. They laid off all their district managers and staff but gladly take customers money because we are on auto pay. they do not accept phones call and are knowing stealing from the customers who supported them
They are charging members for monthly dues while they have not been open since early/mid March. They are only stopping payments on APRIL 16th!!!.....I would like to freeze my account now and resume membership when the pandemic is over. It’s bad customer service to turn off your phone system, especially when you fire all of the gym staff who could have helped with call volumes. I’d appreciate a reply before 4/3 as my next bill date is 4/5. Thank you!
Charging me membership fees despite being closed due to the COVID-19 virus. They have made it impossible to contact them. they have shut down their call centers and the website isn't processing any customer request they need to free payments like every other gym has. They are billing payments for a service we are unable to use.
24 hour fitness business practices are fraudulent and shady....charging members to use the gyms while they are closed is simply despicable when many people are out of work during this crisis. Other gyms including LA Fitness are doing the right thing by freezing all monthly charges but this company takes the low road. Disgusting !
Being a 24 hour fitness client for 10+ years and I would’ve expected better response from the leadership of the company during this time of uncertainty with the Covid-19 pandemic. I was charged multiple times for my monthly dues after the club had closed per the ordinance of state officials.
