It was my mother's birthday today and decided to use this service since it has come through in the past. However this time they totally botched my order as I spent close to $300 on balloons and flowers, the thing is there was no balloons! and no card dedication from me! I can't advise you more as a customer, if you think about using this service, please don't! What any alternatives are out there for you to use, use it! Do not give a cent of your money or business this way, you've been warned, just don't!

This complaint is concerning Shari's Berries, one of their subsidiaries. Ordered 6 chocolate covered strawberries on August 6 for August 14 delivery. August 14 came, no delivery. I contacted Shari's Berries who said that "it was in transit and should be there by 8pm". Needless to say they were not delivered. Made 2nd call to Customer Service who said they would refund my delivery fee and would send another shipment. That didn't arrive either. August 17 the strawberries arrived rotten. 1-800-Flowers.com absolutely horrible customer service. It’s been over 8 days and I am still waiting for the delivery I ordered to be sent. Keep getting apology emails but nothing is done to fix the mistakes or get the item delivered. And then they tell me they will make the delivery “free of charge.” I already paid for it and it was never done! Nothing has been done to correct this and I paid over $100.00 for products that have not been delivered. No offer for a refund, no resolutions. Just apologies and putting me off.

I spend over $700 a year with this company. Against my friends better advice, I continued to use this service (friends didn't trust that the flowers would be delivered based on past experience). I most recently purchased a birthday bouquet for my 80 year old Mothers birthday, not only did it not arrive on her birthday, but when I called to find out the status I was assured a customer service rep would reach out to me - it never happened!! I tried to place an order online yesterday and kept getting billing error and my order would not go through. After 30 minutes of trying I gave up and called in to place my order. Spent 15 minutes on the phone finally order was placed around 1am. I got notification from bank for multiple charges. I logged into my credit card account and there were 5 charges. I got my wife a bunch of sun flowers and they where horrible .Do not buy from 1800flowers they do not care about what they deliver
