A great salon Great color, amazing service, and Julie in the Spa gives the best facial massage. My color stays true for weeks and my cut always looks polished.
The best love this salon. They are professional, and cutting edge. I have been to the best salons in major cities. Christine and Zoe came highly recommended and they followed through ! This is my new salon, and I travel from Connecticut just to see them.
Best hair cut in the area As an "insider" into the hair salon industry, I'm a strong believer that you get what you pay for. Why would a top-notch stylist work in a cheap salon? They wouldn't. I've been to countless salons in NJ and I'm usually unimpressed. You can't seem to get the "Jersey" out of the NJ-trained stylist. Great cut, horrible color I decided to splurge and go with the owners for both cut and color. The cut by Christine was one of the best I had, but the highlight from Zoe was horrible. The highlight was almost a 1/2 inch from the root and the tone was very brassy. I went back for a correction which she was happy to do, but honestly didn't look much better. SUPERB COLOR AT LAST! After several years of searching for a talented colorist (including a couple of tries at a famous NYC color/salon) I went to see Zoe. She listened to my desires & budget concerns (dang economy!) and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. She is both an artist and a perfectionist so each time I leave, my hair and [stubborn] eye brows are a wow! I get compliments on my hair color... something I never experienced before. I am so happy to find such an artist!
New to the East Coast Recently moved from California and my coworker who works at the east coast office recommended Bari for highlights I couldn't be happier. Saw her last week, I was a little afraid to try someone new being I have been seeing the same colorist for 10 years. SNOBBY HORRIBLE the only person who was nice was the receptionist. i overheard the owner yelling at one of her employees from another room.... the woman who did my hair did not seem happy or anything...my haircut also came out crooked.
Zoku is not what they say they are or think they are.. I have tried Zoku a few times...in the beginning(when they were new)) they were very accomodating, and actually I got 1 good haircut.. and a few ok color experiences. I read all of the reviews and decided it was easier than going into the city as that is what they claim they are ,a new york city salon in the suburbs... well I was wrong. Classless Act-The should be shut down!! I cannot even given one star for the appalling color that I received. The color was a RUST RED in spots!! It was put on my hair incorrectly. I was a customer for two years and never received the same color twice. Additionally, I was one of the UNFORTUNATE few to try both the Keratin and Brazillian relaxer.
