SNOBBY HORRIBLE the only person who was nice was the receptionist. i overheard the owner yelling at one of her employees from another room.... the woman who did my hair did not seem happy or anything...my haircut also came out crooked. zoku says theyre the best and caring. my experince was THEY ARE THE WORST AND NOT CARING. you can get a crappy haircut by a bitchy stylist anywhere, the only difference is zoku charges more money. never coming back.
Zoku is not what they say they are or think they are.. I have tried Zoku a few times...in the beginning(when they were new)) they were very accomodating, and actually I got 1 good haircut.. and a few ok color experiences. I read all of the reviews and decided it was easier than going into the city as that is what they claim they are ,a new york city salon in the suburbs... well I was wrong. BEST SALON IN NEW JERSEY I was recommend to go see Jackie at Zoku salon and happy that i was. She is marvelous she gave me a great hair cut and she is so easy to get along with made me feel so comfortable i would recommend Jackie to any one that wants a great haircut and a great experience.
WOW!!! THANK YOU!!! Yesterday was my first trip to Zoku. I have awful, frizzy, thin.dry, damaged, over treated hair. I was dying my hair blond to hide the grays and wanted to go to my more natural warm brown color. I made an appointment with Zoe and I AM THRILLED with what she did!!! SUPERB COLOR AT LAST! After several years of searching for a talented colorist (including a couple of tries at a famous NYC color/salon) I went to see Zoe. She listened to my desires & budget concerns (dang economy!) and delivered results that exceeded my expectations. She is both an artist and a perfectionist so each time I leave, my hair and [stubborn] eye brows are a wow! I get compliments on my hair color... something I never experienced before. I am so happy to find such an artist!
FABULOUS NEW SALON IN SUMMIT! Christine Ku talked to me, played with my hair, told me what I should do (and I agreed completely), then cut my hair and did a great job. I've been looking for a new stylist since I moved to NJ 5 years ago and FINALLY found one! I've been getting compliments from everyone since. The Best Cut and Color Ever!!!!!! This place is worth every penny. Now that I have found ZoKu I am so happy. My first visit was in November and I have returned many times since. It is so important to have a colorist and hairstylists you can trust and I trust my hair with Zoe and Christine. Not only do I get a great cut and amazing color but I also get neck & shoulder massage and cappuccino while waiting between color developments. I recommend ZoKu to everyone who wants their hair done right.
GIANNA FOR COLOR!! I'm new to the area and heard great things about Zoku. I made an appointment with Gianna for highlights. I was greeted with a great smile and a great personality by Gianna. She makes you feel comfortable instantly. My hair was a disaster and she fixed it almost effortlessly. She made it seem so easy.
