By Far One Of The Best Salons In NJ I absolutely loved my experience at Zoku Salon in Summit. The natural friendliness and energy that comes from their staff put me at ease within minutes of walking in the door. My color has turned out fabulous each time I've gone there and continue to get compliments on it even a couple months later. I cannot wait until the next time I go back. It is truly a joy for me to get my hair done there.
Great professional salon After having a terrible haircut and color at another salon, I scheduled an apt with Christine and Zoe to see what coud be done to correct the damage. I have extremely fine and thinning hair which is really difficult to work with, especially after it had already been damaged and cut poorly. Christine was able to work magic, taking my thin fine and destroyed hair and making it look somewhat healthy and stylish. Zoe applied some color that brought back my hair color and made it shiny and healty looking.... read more
Phenomenal hair cut! Living in Summit, I was looking for that edgy, sophisticated hair salon. Having had haircuts at F. Fekkai in NYC, and other top salons, my expectation levels are high. I eyed Zoku salon for several months, and took the plunge last week. person Jackie was flawless, as I read from another reviewer. Take this from someone who was spending $300 plus on a haircut at a posh nyc salon. I will definitely be back! She is SO nice and SO cool too. I have not yet had a good haircut in NJ so finding this with a baby on the way where it'll be hard to treck to the city anymore was an absolute God send. Never been Happier I have visited Zoku a few times to have my color done by Allison. She listens to what I want and makes suggestions to what would look best on me. Every time she is right on the money. I constantly get compliments on my color even when its old. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I've never been happier with my hair. Thank you!!
best experince ever The minute I walked in to ZOKU salon I was greeted offered a glass of wine then changed into a comfortable robe. I was introduced to my stylist JACKIE and we talked about what we think would work best for me. She got it right away and then some. She blow my expectation away. Not only did I leave with a great haircut but i can actually style it myself too. Thank you JACKIE and ZOKU salon for a great experience see you in 8 weeks.
AWFUL I got my hair cut here, and it was terrible. One side was completely shorter than the other and I had to return TWICE without so much as an apology to get it fixed. The first time I returned to get it fixed the owner herself cut it, she was rude and still did an awful job. I am still unsatisfied with the cut, but will never return becuase of their snobby staff. Overpriced and overated.
