Not as good as you think I love blonde highlights! I went and saw the owner for a partial highlight and they lifted my base color. The lift on the base turned the hair a brassy red. The highlights which claimed to be expertly applied were not very good either. The color was almost a half an inch from my hair line with a noticeable line across the front and sides. Happy and Healthy I get my hair blown out every week with Jackie.She always makes my hair look healthy and me better than when I came in. The price is comparable to any top salon here and better than NY. Jackie cuts my hair as well and I have been very happy. Isak colors my hair and I am happy. I have had Pat and Miriam for blow outs when Jackie is unavailable and they do a super job as well.
Soooo disappointed!!! I only tried Zoku because of the reviews, that was a mistake. I was competely disappointed. I was tired of my old look and wanted recommendations for something new but just got a version of the only "new look" I had tried in the past few years that I told the stylist about. I Love My Stylist!!! My stylist Roman used to only work in the city so I would travel in to the get my haircut but when he told me he was going to be in New Jersey one day a week I was beside myself with joy!!! He is great at listening to what I want and always performs! I have been loyal to him for over 7 years! Thank You Roman I Love You! Your a Jersey Boy now! xo
The best love this salon. They are professional, and cutting edge. I have been to the best salons in major cities. Christine and Zoe came highly recommended and they followed through ! This is my new salon, and I travel from Connecticut just to see them.
Great Experience!!!! I love it!! I had a great experience at Zoku Salon, I went in for a full day of beauty with a friend, we got our hair done and had a great time, we left feeling like new women. The atmosphere was charming and the staff was very friendly, I will most definitely return. Keep Up!!!
Zoku Gets it Right!... Every time I recently went into Zoku for my third time for color, after getting highlights twice, and looking FABULOUS!! I decided I wanted to go back to my natural dark brown. As nervous as I knew Bari would be able to do it right. She did it perfectly and I've never been happier. I also had Jackie cut and style my hair for me. It feels amazing, looks healthy and shiny and takes little to no effort for me to do on my own. Five stars... I can't wait for my next appointment. Thank you Girls!!
Classless Act-The should be shut down!! I cannot even given one star for the appalling color that I received. The color was a RUST RED in spots!! It was put on my hair incorrectly. I was a customer for two years and never received the same color twice. Additionally, I was one of the UNFORTUNATE few to try both the Keratin and Brazillian relaxer. Best hair cut in the area As an "insider" into the hair salon industry, I'm a strong believer that you get what you pay for. Why would a top-notch stylist work in a cheap salon? They wouldn't. I've been to countless salons in NJ and I'm usually unimpressed. You can't seem to get the "Jersey" out of the NJ-trained stylist.
