As a brand new business (not even officially a business yet) I was looking for an affordable way to keep track of expenses and invoice clients. I wasn't about to pay for Quickbooks when I am not even to that stage yet. Customer service/response is great! Just now testing out their new version, and while I would have said that the application did lack some features, I'm not sure that this holds true anymore. They truly listen to their customers' requests.
I recently retired from a government job and I am using ZipBooks to start my own small business. I never studied accounting but I found this software to be very 'user friendly' for basic bookkeeping to track expenses, income, send invoices and receive payments. it also includes a feature to track time spent on different different tasks for each client which can be billed at different rates, which is a very important feature for me. Why not have accounting/bookkeeping software that is delightful and intuitive? Do you like using your old, boring software? Nah, didn't think so. ZipBooks rocks!
Works great! I was skeptical at first because it's free, but it's better than the paid ones I've tried.
