This is my favorite nail salon. – I have probably been to over 50 nail salons in SF and Danville. Zaza is the best nail salon I've been to. The decor is tranquil. Attention to detail is very obvious here. I recommend Sandra for manicures & pedicures. She's very nice. I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time by Gwen, and it was a delightful experience. Swanky joint – Very cute place in a great location, though parking can be a challenge. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. No pressures to buy products (compared to other places I've been). The best part of the experience is the large leather chairs you sink in while getting the mani/pedi treatment! To top it off, hand/food massages are given after the treatment. Agreed with some of the other reviews..they open a new package for nail treatments and your's to keep.
Fell In LOVE! – You wouldnt believe how hard it is to get a good mani/pedi in this town w/o giving up your first born...or a hundred bucks. ZaZa knocked my socks off! The whole staff was super nice and the mani/pedi from Son was perfect! I used to begrudgingly give my money & time to Mani Pedi and thought I would never find a Nail Spa with an ounce of love for the fingers and toes... but I have and I am delighted! Thank You ZaZa
ZaZa Great and Clean – I love this place! And it is very sanitary- It's the only nail spa I've been to where they actually give you the tools they use on you, nail file and pumice, etc. after they finish your pedicure and manicure. Also, the mani/pedi/brow shaping is a great deal! Plus the leather reclining chairs are awesome! Finally a great place for a manicure in SOMA.
The best nail spot in San Francisco! – If you have not tried Zaza, you are missing out! Not only do they have all the fluff (luxurious chairs, scented lotions to choose from, etc.) but they do an excellent, thorough job. get new chairs for your techs – The stool that my technician sat on, kept sliding back, so my leg kept extending so he was constantly readjusting both his position and mine. I asked if his stool had a lock and it did not. Unfortunately, that made my pedicure entirely un-relaxing. Also, I had to repeatedly request that he paint all the way to the edge of my nails as he was leaving wider than typical gaps (and this was on the second coat, not just the 1st as is usual).
ANOTHER NICE SOMA NAIL BOUTIQUE – Another place that gets the no whirlpool spa chairs thing. Thank goodness. Leather reclining chairs and stainless steel bowls (although you aren't reclined until your massage and color app). Three tables for mani (if they're not too busy you can request a recliner). I had the basic pedi and for this type of nail spa the service was on par and price with similar places. The Best Nail Technician in SF works there!! – if you want a perfect looking, long lasting manicure delivered with four star service, you need to head to Zaza and request Son. Son is the most talented, attentive and charming nail technician in town. Once you get a mani/pedi from him you will never go anywhere else. Trust me, I have tried many many places and technicians. As far as the salon itself, it's very nice, very well run by smart caring people. Go to Zaza, request Son (quickly, he gets booked fast) and enjoy.
