The owners opened the Birmingham restaurant after success with a couple of other locations in Florida, and just like in the Sunshine State, you'll find simple dishes made with simple ingredients. Open for lunch and brunch only, come and order some chicken and waffles and wash it down with a sweet tea, it doesn't get any more quintessentially Southern than this.

Best fried chicken in town. You might eat here twice in one week.
Absolutely one of the best little places to eat! Wish they were open for dinner or on weekends.

While the food was good, the service was subpar. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, we tracked down a waitress who had no record of our order. The waiting continued. When our food arrived, both of our plates lacked side items that they were sold with. Instead of getting jambalaya on the side of his meal, my boyfriend was offered chocolate cake. Huh? Disappointing first visit.
My first visit I got the fried fish & fries. It was fried just the way I like it. The atmosphere was very pleasant & homely... I will back soon...
Ate here for lunch today for the first time and had the Shrimp & Grits. It was absolutely fabulous! My friend had the "meal of the day", Orange Chicken - which was also very delicious! The food, atmosphere, and staff were all wonderful! Highly recommended!
Awesome food, enjoyed the visit. Chicken and waffles were amazing!
