Cheese grits, black beans and fried fish are staples in any soul food restaurant, and this kitchen prepares them in the most traditional way. The owners opened the Birmingham restaurant after success with a couple of other locations in Florida, and just like in the Sunshine State, you'll find simple dishes made with simple ingredients. Open for lunch and brunch only, come and order some chicken and waffles and wash it down with a sweet tea, it doesn't get any more quintessentially Southern than this.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Staff is beyond friendly...they're like family! We've been 3 times now and every time, the food has been outstanding! Chicken & Waffles, Fish Tacos, Shrimp & Grits and the Hot Wing Plate has been our Go To's! Fries are hand cut and made fresh in house, jambalaya is to die for and let me not forget about that moist chocolate cake! Moral of the story...this is a staple in my book, lol!
